New Teacher Orientation

On Tuesday, August 29th, we spent a wonderful morning with 25 new teachers to BGRD.  Topics discussed were AISI, P.D, Curriculum,Student Services, ATA Member Services, and Teacher Evaluations.  Our new teachers are second to none, and BGRD is fortunate to have these people on its team.  The highlight of the morning was twofold: the metaphor activity and our division principal presentation.  Great Things are happening in BGRD #18.

                                                                        

Welcome Back

I hope each of you, our staff members of BGRD #18, have enjoyed the summer and are excited about the upcoming school year.  I enjoyed a few weeks at Lake Kalamalka and am looking forward to begin the 2012-2013 school year in my new role as the Associate Superintendent Human Resources.  I believe our most important resources are our people, and each person's performance contributes to the improvement of student learning.  I look forward to helping you provide the parents and students of Black Gold Schools with exemplary service and leadership.
